Jerusalem Word Tent, in the Archdiocese of Trichur and operating under the CMI Devamatha Province is growing as a dream in the heart of God. Jerusalem has taken up the holy mission of preparing and nourishing the people of God for the making of the Kingdom of God and the birth of a new age of the Holy Spirit. It was on 8 September 1995 that the foundation stone of Jerusalem Word Tend, known as Jerusalem Nager today, near the Thalore-Mannuthy bypass was laid by Mar Joseph Kundukulam. the former Archbishop of Trichur Archdiocese. This prayer community. started in simple circumstances with seven members, has grown into a large prayer gathering of 500,000. The activities and service sessions at the Jerusalem Retreat centre are anchored by its ever enthusiastic and untiring Director, Fr. Davis Pattath with valuable guidance and unstinted support by Ecclesiastical heads,Lay ministers like Prof. K.M Francis, Prof. P.C. Thomas and CMI team members Fr.Devassya Kannat, Fr.Lucius Nereparambil and Fr.Jo Pacheril.
